I recently moved into a new apartment and its really so difficult to decorate without the ability to change anything permanent or major like fixtures or wall color. My project would be so easy if I could paint the walls and change the cabinets and the light fixtures and the mirror and faucets and take down the shower doors…ok well maybe not easy 😉

This is my original inspiration. Its not really this right shade of pink but its much closer then most modern pinks which are to put it plainly too pink!
I really like the bathroom, its large and fairly well lite. I just don’t like the boring beige walls and the heinous greige particle board cabinets. They look so cheap.
I have a vision of a gorgeous Black and Pink Mid-Century retro powder room, which is odd because I am not a pink kinda girl, red is more my speed, or at least orange. Guess my tastes are changing. But I have found some reds and even purples are making their way into the room now whether they will stay is still in question.
I have a few pieces I am working on and have acquired but have been kinda stuck recently and have made no progress… heres what I have to start with.

These were actually mine… I have lost a ton of weight 😀 I will using them to cover the chair I got for $2!
ugly cabinets I think a cute skirt will take care of this problem but how to mount it? Velcro maybe? Oh and I have to fix the drawer I broke, maybe BF will take pity and help me.
